NECKPIECES
FLORA OCEANA GOLD. A bold, yellow-black enamelled statement neckpiece reminiscent of underwater worlds and coral reefs. Every colourful disk is hand-sawn and individually enamelled, sifting the powders in layers to cause a unique spattered pattern.
SYBILLA IV.
A voluptuous neckpiece inspired by large, imaginary tropical blossoms. Hand-sawn, enamelled and combined with black freshwater pearls, amethyst drops, and strings of black spinel and garnet.
AUTUMN DREAM JUST BEFORE DUSK. An exquisite cascade of autumn colours in executed in enamel, ranging all the way from yellow-greens to bright fiery orange and all colours in between. Every single enamel disk is hand sawn from copper and individually kiln-enamelled in multiple layers with loving attention to detail.
DARKFLOCK. Like a swarm of dark, winged flutterings, these silver creatures perch in a loose row, dappled with a spray of small and even smaller freshwater pearls. Depicted with a wintery ink and watercolour drawing.
FLORA OCEANA. Oxidized sterling silver, grey and creme-coloured freshwater pearls, enamel on copper, citrine and clear quartz drops, rutile quartz, steel wire and nylon. Hand sawn, enamelled and knotted. Each small circular piece is individually fired with multiple layers of powdered enamel, allowing these subtle greys, pinks, blacks and whites to melt into one another in beautifully spontaneous ways. FLORA OCEANA: FIRE. 2021. Enamelled in fiery hues from bright orange to dark reddish, this neckpiece is a real eye-catcher. Each disk is hand-sawn from copper and meticulously kiln-enamelled in several layers. The neckpiece is completed with recycled coral disks (reconstituted, dyed) as well as carnelian and garnet beads. Completed with a hand made sterling silver clasp (oidized).
FEAR SIFTER. The Fearsifter is essentially a wearable fear management tool. It’s a reminder: Our fears are often muddled and messy and vague, so the simple act of taking this fear, sifting it mentally to discover the essence of it amidst all the muck, and examining that fear nugget closely is often enough to become calmer. What if we could have a tool to – at least in a pretend game – to sift away the sticky goo and unearth something inside that may tell us more about ourselves.
ALS ALLES NOCH GRÜNER WAR. Enamel on silver, 18 carat gold wire and clasp, mixed green gemstones including tourmaline, apatite, peridot, garnet and emerald. Hand sawn. Each small circular piece is individually fired with multiple layers of powdered enamel, allowing the colours to melt into each other in beautifully spontaneous ways.
NYMPHAEA. Inspired by the way waterlily leaves overlap on the surface of a pond, like a dense web of scales. Crafted from grey freshwater pearls, enamel, copper, nylon, iolite, emerald and silver.
BOTANIST’S DREAM JUST BEFORE DAWN. This neckpiece deliciously contrasts bright enamelled kiwi greens with the red-violet hues of garnets, smokey quartz and dark frehwater pearls.
TIDAL POOL CREATURES. Fiery neckpiece crafted from enamel, copper, carnelian, agate, sterling silver, steel wire, pyrite, and nylon.
