Medallion-shaped and secretive,

the Pearlcatcher harbours a precious perfectly-imperfect (and undrilled) Tahiti pearl that may move around freely but never escape. The lattice-like hand-sawn enamelled exterior forms a cage both protective and possessive; it offers just enough of a shimmering glimpse of the treasure inside. Worn as a pendant, it may serve as your personal good luck charm, a small object to clasp your hand around, a tiny glint of hope if you are in need of one.

IMAGINING PARADISE

IMAGINING PARADISE is a collection of paintings and art jewellery that springs from an abundant imaginary garden in my mind. It is designed to celebrate human elegance with an edge of joyful eccentricity.

The pomegranate serves as its central symbol, weaving a crimson thread through the ancient tradition of gardening to Greek mythology, through stories of motherhood and harvest, abundant life and love, but also tales of blood, disintegration and death. Born from fire, the enamels I choose to work with add a sense of spontaneity and a magical whisper of the language of alchemy.

Every jewellery piece is uniquely hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Combined with precious metals, pearls and unusual gemstones, these botanical treasures look as if they have been gathered on a dream-like journey to that internal imaginary garden.

My paintings are windows into imaginary dream spheres, dramatising the tangled growth, the joyful and sometimes violent pushing towards light, and the spilling flowers and fruit of the primordial garden.

Shipping is free in Germany.

If you are ordering from countries other than Germany, please select your shipping option from a drop-down menu. Your applicable shipping option is determined by the largest item you are purchasing.

Please note that due to logistical reasons, this shop is currently not shipping to France. Please contact me if you are in France and would like to purchase an item in my shop.

A brief explanation of shipping options:

POST CARDS are shipped for free using regular mail. If you wish to have them shipped with registered mail instead, please contact me.
JEWELLERY + ART includes all jewellery pieces, which are shipped securely packaged in a small box inside a larger box, with multiple layers of padding. Box frames with watercolour paintings are in this category as well, as are large paintings which need to be shipped in a sturdy tube.
SMALL PAINTINGS refers to any painting smaller than 25 x 35 cm (9,8 x 13,8 inches) wich may be shipped in a large, cardboard-backed envelope. These paintings will not be shipping with regular mail; they will be sent with registered mail or an equivalent shipping service.
