The “Spatter” series invokes an image of ripe fruit splitting open and scattering colourful, precious seeds all around them. There are tiny, more closed versions and versions that are split wide, generously dispersing gemstones all around them.
They are magic when worn: These statement earrings move as you move your head, dance as you walk, and frame your face with a wild spattering of joyful abundance.
The mood in these particular one-of-a-kind earrings is one of pale turquoise and white foam-tips, bleached beach bones and shells, pale salty crusts, sand and silver.
Hand-made from hand-sawn and enamelled copper, sterling silver, steel wire, freshwater pearls, turquoise and chrysoprase beads, and white nylon thread.

Coloured like the edges of pale blue and green watercolours bleeding into each other, tipped with accents of white pearl, these earrings look like imaginary fruit harvested on some paradisiacal dune near the beach. Where bleached pieces of wood and other flotsam lie washed up in the sand, where small flowers and reeds with intricate seed capsules grow against all odds, crusted with salt, and the wind and the seagulls make you yearn for some far away place you don’t even know.
