Enamel, copper, sterling silver, black spinel, agate, carnelian, citrine, nylon, steel wire.
A composition of gemstones and hand sawn, kiln enamelled circular elements. Each small circular piece is individually fired with multiple layers of powdered enamel, allowing the colours to melt into each other in beautifully spontaneous ways. On a walk I collected autumn leaves clinging to the wet pavement, gold-green mottled treasures, and I gently placed them in my wallet to use instead of paper money.
